This Cookie Policy explains how VIWA Barcelona S.L.U. (“VIWA”) uses cookies and similar technologies on viwabarcelona.com.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember your preferences, measure performance and support marketing.
Some cookies are session cookies, deleted when you close your browser; others are persistent cookies, which stay on your device until they expire or you delete them. Cookies may be set by us (first-party) or by third parties. Alongside cookies we also use similar technologies such as scripts and browser storage (local and session storage); in this policy the word “cookies” covers all of them.
2. How we manage cookies
When you first visit our store, a consent banner lets you accept or reject each category of non-essential cookies. Non-essential cookies are not set until you give your consent, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time (see section 6). Consent is managed through our store platform (Shopify) and our consent-management tool, Consentmo.
3. Categories of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary (always active) — required for the site to work: cart, checkout, security and storing your consent choice. These cannot be switched off.
- Functional — remember preferences such as language.
- Analytics / performance — help us understand how the store is used so we can improve it.
- Marketing / advertising — used to measure and personalise advertising.
4. Third-party services
Some cookies are set by third parties we use. Where these involve non-essential cookies, they load only after your consent:
- Shopify — our store platform (cart, checkout, security, store analytics).
- Klaviyo — email marketing and on-site behaviour.
- Nice-team (Bundler) — technical script for product bundles in our store; it loads with the page, sets no cookies and keeps one entry in your browser's local storage.
- Consentmo — stores your cookie-consent choices (strictly necessary).
We do not currently use Google or Meta (Facebook / Instagram) analytics or advertising tools. If we introduce them, they will load only after your consent and this policy will be updated beforehand. The same applies to further services (for example product reviews) once our full store opens.
5. Cookies and similar technologies in use
The table below lists the providers active in our store, grouped by provider, together with the purpose, the consent categories involved and the typical storage duration. We review this list whenever we add or remove services.

6. Managing or withdrawing your consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the cookie banner / site footer. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings; note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect how the store works.
Your cookie choices are saved in a dedicated technical cookie. If you use several devices or browsers, please set your preferences on each one.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page.
